Cookie Policy

Dear user,

GLOBALTECH SOLUTIONS SAGL with registered office in 6900, LUGANO, Via Zurigo no. 35 (hereinafter, "GLOBALTECH SOLUTIONS SAGL" or the "Owner"), who can be contacted by email at "", provides this cookie policy, with the purpose of explaining the types and purposes of cookies used by GLOBALTECH SOLUTIONS SAGL's websites listed below (hereinafter jointly referred to as, the "Sites", or , with reference to the website on which you are currently browsing, the "Site") and to explain to you how to manage your preferences regarding the use of cookies.

GLOBALTECH SOLUTIONS SAGL will appoint a personal data protection officer ("DPO") in accordance with articles 37 ff. of the European Regulation no. 679/2016 (the "GDPR") who can be contacted for all matters relating to the processing of personal data and the exercise of users' rights provided for in the privacy policy and the legislation on the processing of personal data.

For all matters not covered by this cookie policy, please refer to the privacy policy of GLOBALTECH SOLUTIONS SAGL.

The Sites use cookies, internet tags and similar technologies (hereinafter jointly referred to as "cookies"), which are technically small files containing packets of information sent by a web server to the visitor/user's Internet browser and automatically stored by the latter on the device (personal computer, tablet, mobile phone, etc.) and automatically sent back to the server each time the site is accessed.

The cookie can only be used by the web server that issued it (or by any third parties with whom it was originally shared); this means, for example, that cookies generated by GLOBALTECH SOLUTIONS SAGL cannot be read by servers operated by third parties.

The cookie is then re-read and recognised by the website that sent it each time a subsequent connection is made. Internet tags (also known as tracking pixels, action tags, web beacons, single-pixel GIFs, clear GIFs or 1×1 GIFs) are placed both on online advertisements that bring users to this Site and on various pages of this Site.

This technology is used to measure visitor responses to the Site and the effectiveness of related advertising campaigns (including how many times a page is opened and what information is accessed), as well as to evaluate Site usage.

Cookies are useful in that they allow us to store your browsing preferences and thus personalise the Sites according to your needs and improve your browsing experience.

Cookies can, for example, make it easier to use the Sites and/or enable certain features. For example, cookies may allow you to avoid re-entering the same information multiple times during a visit. In some cases, cookies may also help ensure that advertisements displayed online are more relevant to you or your interests.

Some cookies are necessary for the correct provision of the Sites or useful for a personalised use of the same; in this case, inhibiting them may compromise certain functions of the Sites. Moreover, thanks to cookies, GLOBALTECH SOLUTIONS SAGL can publish on its Sites, directly or through third parties, advertisements in line with your interests, deduced on the basis of your online activities and browsing habits.

The cookies used on the Sites can be distinguished by virtue of the following criteria:

  1. Depending on the entity managing the cookies:
  2. i) proprietary or first party cookies: these cookies are installed and managed directly by the Owner through the Sites;
    ii) third party cookies: these cookies are generated, installed through the Sites, and managed by third parties other than GLOBALTECH SOLUTIONS SAGL;
  3. Based on the time they remain active:
  4. i) session cookies: these cookies store the necessary information during the browsing session and are deleted immediately after the session expires, i.e. when the browser is closed;
    ii) persistent cookies: these cookies are stored on the hard disk of the device you are using to browse and the Sites read them each time you visit again. A persistent cookie has a fixed expiry date, after which it will stop working.
  5. Depending on the purposes pursued:
  6. i) Technical cookies: these are cookies that are necessary to allow the user to navigate the Sites and take advantage of the related functionalities. Without these cookies, certain services or functions could not be provided and navigation on the Sites would not be easy and functional;
  7. (ii) analytics cookies: these are cookies used to obtain statistical information, in aggregate or otherwise, on the number of users accessing the Sites and how the Sites are used;

iii) profiling cookies: these are cookies used to draw up a profile of the user in order to display advertisements that may be in line with their interests, as they are consistent with their tastes, interests and consumption habits.

The categories of cookies used by the Sites are listed below.

This type of cookie allows certain sections of the Sites to function properly and is essential to enable you to navigate the Sites and use their features. Technical cookies are used, for example, to recognise the user who has authenticated his or her e-mail account and to keep the session open when the user visits other pages of the Sites, or to guarantee certain security measures of the Sites and monitor their correct functioning.

Technical cookies can be of two categories:

  • browsing cookies: these cookies ensure normal use of the Sites and are usually session cookies, which are automatically deleted when you close your browser; these cookies are necessary for the operation of the Site and cannot be disabled in our systems. If you reject these cookies by changing your browser settings, we cannot guarantee the operation and performance of the Site during your visit.
  • functionality cookies: these allow you to navigate the Sites according to a number of selected criteria (e.g. language or country of origin) in order to improve the services provided on the Site. These are persistent cookies, which remain on the user's device even after the browser is closed, until the expiry date set for each cookie (typically two months to two years) or until the user deletes them. If you reject these cookies, you will not be able to use the browsing features mentioned above, which may impact the performance of the Sites and your browsing experience.

Technical cookies are not used for any purpose other than those mentioned above. If the user consents to the installation of cookies, the Controller will keep track of this consent by means of a specific technical cookie. In this way, it will be possible to avoid re-presenting the cookie banner on future visits to the Site. You can deactivate technical cookies via your browser settings, as specified below in this cookie policy, or in the case of third-party technical cookies by accessing the information and consent forms of that third party via the links in the table below. However, deactivating these cookies may affect the proper navigation and functionality of the Site.

Cookies in this category are used to collect statistical information, in aggregate or otherwise, on the use of the Sites by users accessing the Sites and how they navigate the Sites.

The Site uses this information to obtain anonymous statistical analysis in order to improve its use by users and to make its content more in line with visitors' wishes. Some cookies are used to calculate the value of the advertising offer, identify individual advertisements and know which ones have been selected and when. As required by applicable law, the prior consent of the user is required for the installation of third-party analytical cookies. If you give your consent to the installation of analytical cookies, the Data Controller will keep track of this consent through a specific technical cookie. In this way, it will be possible to avoid repetition of the cookie banner during future visits to the Site.

You are free to give your consent to the installation of analytical cookies and revoke it at any time (as specified below in the cookie policy), without affecting your ability to visit the Site and enjoy its content, but if you do not consent to these cookies, we will not know when you have visited the Sites and will not be able to improve their performance. To find out how, you can read the third party cookie policies.

Analytical cookies are sent by the Site itself or by third-party domains/websites.

Profiling cookies are used to group users into homogeneous categories based, for example, on the user's preferences. These cookies can be used, among other things, to send advertising messages conforming to the user's behaviour on the web and to his surfing interests (therefore also outside the GLOBALTECH SOLUTIONS SAGL sites). In accordance with the applicable legislation, the prior consent of users is required for the installation of profiling cookies.

You are free to give your consent to the installation of profiling cookies and to withdraw it at any time, without affecting your ability to visit the Site and enjoy its contents. However, even if you decide not to consent to the use of profiling cookies, advertising will still be displayed on the Sites, but it may not be in line with your interests or preferences.

If the user gives his consent to the installation of profiling cookies, the Controller will keep track of this consent by means of a specific technical cookie. In this way, it will be possible to avoid repetition of the cookie banner during future visits to the Site.

Profiling cookies are installed by the Owner and by third parties, who act as independent data controllers (third party cookies). In particular, the profiling cookies that may be installed through the Sites, subject to the user's consent, allow the following purposes to be pursued:

  • storing and/or accessing information on a device: cookies, device identifiers or other information may be stored or retrieved on the user's device.
  • select basic ads: display ads based on the content you view, the app you use, your approximate location, or the type of device you use to browse the Sites.
  • Create a profile of personalised ads: create a profile related to the user and his/her interests in order to show personalised ads.
  • select personalised ads: show personalised ads based on the user's profile.
  • Create a personalised content profile: create a profile related to the user and their interests to show them relevant personalised content.
  • select customised content: select customised content to be shown based on the user's profile.
  • Evaluating ad performance: assessing the performance and effectiveness of ads viewed by or interacted with by the user.
  • Evaluate the performance of content: assess the performance and effectiveness of content viewed by or interacted with by the user.
  • perform market research to generate audience insights: use market research to learn more about the audience that visits the Sites and displays ads.
  • product development and improvement: using user navigation data to improve existing systems and software and to develop new products.
  • Ensuring security, preventing fraud and debugging: monitor browsing activity to prevent fraudulent activity and ensure that systems and processes are operating correctly and securely;
  • select personalised content: the user's device may receive and send information to enable the user to view and interact with ads and content.

In order to pursue one or more of these purposes, the profiling cookies installed through the Sites may also make use of the following features:

  • Matching and combining offline data sources: data from offline sources can be combined with the user's online activity to support one or more purposes;
  • connecting different devices: determining whether different devices belong to the same user or to the same household, in support of one or more purposes;
  • receive and use the characteristics that the device sends automatically for identification purposes: distinguish a device from other devices based on the information it sends automatically, such as IP address or browser type;
  • use precise geolocation data: precise geolocation data can be used to support one or more purposes. This means that the position of the user can be determined precisely within a few metres;
  • Scan device characteristics for identification purposes: The device can be identified by scanning the unique combination of device characteristics.

In addition, on GLOBALTECH SOLUTIONS SAGL's websites, following a search, so-called "sponsored links" are also displayed: these are search results acquired from third party companies wishing to promote themselves through the websites with reference to specific search keys strictly relevant to the activity they carry out.

The Site also features social network cookie sharing plug-ins, which allow users to share their information with social networks and allow social network operators to identify users and store information about their use of the Site in their profiles. If you do not accept these cookies, you cannot use or view these sharing tools.

Some cookies, however, are also installed on the site of the owner or manager independently of direct agreements with partners and suppliers who adhere to the CMP (Consent Management Platform) adopted by GLOBALTECH SOLUTIONS SAGL.

Many companies that generate cookies on third-party websites offer the possibility to deactivate and/or inhibit in a simple and immediate manner only their own cookies, even when these are anonymous, i.e. do not involve the registration of personal identification data.

When you access the Sites, and have your browser set to accept cookies, you may express your preferences regarding the various types of cookies through the popup banner displayed on the pages of the Sites.

These preferences will be recorded in a cookie consent management platform (i.e., the Consent Management Platform, hereinafter "CMP"), developed in accordance with the principles of applicable data protection law and the guidelines and guidance provided by the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) to allow you to exercise your choices in a granular manner.

CMP makes it possible to give or withhold consent to various types of cookies, whether issued directly by GLOBALTECH SOLUTIONS SAGL or by its partners and suppliers; this means that it is not necessary to express a preference for each individual cookie or for each third party, although the choice by individual third party is in any case permitted directly by CMP or in the tables above. The different types of cookies are identified and classified on the basis of the purposes for which the cookies are issued and used, making their recognition easier and more immediate.

In particular, when the user accesses the Sites, via the popup banner you can choose to:

  • accept the installation of all the categories of cookies listed above by clicking on the "Accept and Close" button;
  • log in to the CMP and choose which categories of cookies to accept or reject by purpose, or by third party, by selecting or deselecting them individually, by clicking on the "Learn more and customise" button;
  • deny the installation of all cookies, keeping only the technical ones necessary for the operation of the Site, by clicking on the "X" at the top right of the banner.

To access the CMP and manage your cookie consents on the Site, click on the link below:

In the event that you have already expressed your preferences and therefore do not see the popup banner when accessing the Sites, you may at any time access the CMP and modify your choices in relation to cookies. Moreover, below in this cookie policy, you will find a list of all the Sites of GLOBALTECH SOLUTIONS SAGL, with a link to the CMP of each one.

In this respect, it is important for the user to know that preferences expressed on a Site will be valid for the entire second-level domain to which it belongs.

This cookie policy applies to the following GLOBALTECH SOLUTIONS SAGL websites. Click on the domain you are browsing to access the relevant CMP.
